Step by step
  1. Install tamper-resistant outlet covers or sliding-plate covers on all accessible outlets.

  2. Add cabinet/drawer latches to areas with cleaning supplies, medications, or sharp tools.

  3. Anchor bookshelves, dressers, and TVs to the wall with anti-tip straps.

  4. Install corner guards on sharp furniture edges at child height.

  5. Walk the home at a toddler's eye level to spot missed hazards.
