Step by step
  1. Locate the PVC condensate drain line near the indoor air handler.

  2. Turn off the AC system.

  3. Attach a wet/dry vacuum to the outdoor end of the drain line and run it for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Alternatively, pour a cup of distilled vinegar into the drain access point every few months.

  5. Confirm water drips from the outdoor line end and check for the pan overflow switch.
