Step by step
  1. Remove racks and soak them separately in soapy water.

  2. For self-clean ovens, run the cycle per the manual (ventilate the kitchen).

  3. For manual cleaning, apply a baking-soda paste to grime and let sit overnight.

  4. Wipe out residue with a damp cloth and finish with a vinegar spray to cut remaining film.

  5. Clean the door glass and reinstall racks once dry.
