Step by step
  1. Use a grout saw or oscillating tool to remove old grout from the joints.

  2. Vacuum out dust and debris from the joints.

  3. Mix new grout to a peanut-butter consistency and apply with a rubber float, packing joints diagonally.

  4. Wipe excess grout off tile faces with a damp sponge before it fully sets.

  5. Once cured, apply grout sealer (for cement-based grout) to resist future staining.
