Step by step

  1. Identify the damaged panel and locate the seam above it.

  2. Use a zip tool to unhook the panel above from the damaged one.

  3. Remove nails from the damaged panel and slide it out.

  4. Cut and fit a matching replacement panel, nailing loosely to allow expansion.

  5. Re-hook the panel above back into place.
