Step by step
  1. Shut off the fixture's supply valves.

  2. Place a small bucket or towel beneath the connection.

  3. Unscrew the old supply line from the valve and the fixture.

  4. Hand-tighten the new braided line, then snug a quarter turn with a wrench.

  5. Turn water back on and check both ends for drips.
