Step by step
Shut off the fixture's supply valves.
Place a small bucket or towel beneath the connection.
Unscrew the old supply line from the valve and the fixture.
Hand-tighten the new braided line, then snug a quarter turn with a wrench.
Turn water back on and check both ends for drips.
