Step by step
Remove old weatherstripping by peeling or prying it off.
Clean the frame surface of old adhesive residue.
Measure and cut new weatherstripping to length.
Press the new strip firmly into place (peel-and-stick or nail-in, depending on type).
Close the door/window and check for a snug, draft-free seal.
